Richard "Rippy" Meadows was born on February 2, 1967, to the late Bobby Neil Meadows and Ruth Louise Littlefield Meadows. For many years he traveled countless miles across the country to provide for his family.
Known for his love of Richard Petty, dirt track racing and Tarheel Basketball. Richard touched the lives of all who knew him. He was the kind of man to give you the shirt off his back.
He will be missed dearly by his wife of 36 years, Angie Cowart Meadows and all of his girls, Jessie, Kylie, Bri, Karson, Ramsey, Peyton, Alexa, Taylor, and Paisley.
Others left to cherish his memory include Sam and Linda, Mark and Samantha, David, Zach, Kassie, Brea, Faith, Luke, Caitlyn, Zeke, Bella, Josie, and Evie.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home.
Richard’s graveside service will be a private service with Samuel Cowart officiating.
