Joyce Turman Yeager age 89 of Douglasville, GA formerly of Sulligent, AL passed away Monday, April 17, 2023, just 3 days from her 90th birthday, in the St. Vincent's Hospital in Birmingham, AL.
Born April 20, 1933 in Sulligent, AL she is the Daughter of the late William Murry and Myrtice Belle Stanford Turman and the Wife of the late W.E. Yeager. She grew up in the Pine Springs Community and after living in Birmingham several years she married Wilber Yeager and moved to Georgia where she had a wonderful life with many friends and neighbors she considered her family. Joyce loved working in her yard, flowers and birds and bird houses, but most important was Elvis.
She is survived by a Brother, James and Wife Jane Turman of Sulligent, AL a Nephew, Jason and Wife Teri Turman of Gardendale, AL and several Great and Great Great Nieces and Nephews.
She was also preceded in death by an Infant Nephew a Nephew, William Jim Turman and a Niece, Vicki Turman Whaley.
Services held Friday 1:00 PM from the Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Pine Springs Cemetery.
