Obituary for
Juan Ramon Ferreira
Worcester-Juan Ramon Ferreira, 68, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 7, 2023. He is survived by his children, Marcelo Ferreira, Christian Ferreira, Elsa Ferreira, and Matias Ferreira; his wife, Germania "Jenny" Vazquez and her son Raul Vazquez; siblings, Hugo, Jose, Luis, Edgardo, and Alejandra Ferreira; 6 grandchildren; nieces, nephews, extended family, and many dear friends.
Son of the late Hector Ferreira & Soraida Crossa, Juan was born and raised in Montevideo, Uruguay. A talented furniture maker by trade, he lived and worked in Argentina as a young adult before emigrating to the United States in 1990, and later settling in Leominster where he learned English and completed his GED.
Whether singing Tango at open mics, serving his church, or cheering on his favorite soccer teams, Juan was blessed with an outgoing personality and made friends naturally. He was a true gentleman and an avid reader with a desire for learning.
A natural in the kitchen, he had a passion for cooking and baking and was known for his pizzas, bread, and authentic Uruguayan dishes. Juan will forever be remembered as a devoted family man, a loving companion, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, April 16, 2023 from 1 until 3PM with a Funeral Service prior at noon in the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton. Online condolences may be placed at www.philbincomeaufh.com
