Juan Raul Menchaca Jr., 47, went to be with the Lord on August 31, 2023. He was
born August 1, 1976, in San Antonio, Texas to his parents Juan Raul Menchaca and Celestina Leos. Juan grew up in the west side of town where he attended Jefferson High school. He then had multiple jobs, but then had the opportunity to work with CPS Energy and as an adult dedicated 24 and half years to CPS energy where he started off as Utility worker and worked his way up to a foreman. He really loved his job and what he did.
He was a loving father, husband, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. Juan enjoyed going fishing, playing golf, biking, helping out, and especially spending time with his family. His family meant everything to him; he was a family oriented man. He was a very caring and loving person. Juan would always help people in need. He had a passion for helping out his community, for example volunteering annually in Raul Jimenez Thanksgiving dinner, Angel Tree, and many other charities. He would give his shirt off his back for anyone. Juan was a fighter, he fought to the end battling Pancreatic Cancer for four years.
Juan is survived by his beloved wife, Blanca Menchaca, his daughters;
Miranda Menchaca and Bianca Menchaca,his parents; Juan Raul Menchaca(Graciela) and Celestina Leos (Pedro), his sisters; Crystal Leos, Melissa Menchaca, his brothers; Michael Prado (Monica), Pete Leos, George Leos, Christopher Menchaca, in-laws;
Letisia Colón (Gabriel), Fernando Islas (Julie), Melinda Islas (Ruben), numerous nieces, nephews, family members, and lifelong friends. Juan will be missed by those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
