Juanita A. Clark was born March 23, 1953 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Roy and Chloteele (Dollins) Ballard. She completed her earthly journey on Friday, September 5, 2025, with her family at her side in Oklahoma City.
A Celebration of Life service is planned for Monday, September 15, 2025, at 10:00 at Providence Church in Meridian with Dee Bowen officiating. Arrangements have been handled by Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.
A lifelong resident of Duncan, Juanita graduated from Duncan High School with the Class of 1971. She married the love of her life, Royce Clark, on June 29, 1973 in the Liberty Baptist Church. Their family was complete with the births of their children - Sara and Wayne. She was employed as an administrative assistant, working for Perkins Energy Company for more than 40 years.
She loved her grandchildren and made it her mission to spend as much time as possible and support them in every endeavor. Her favorite pastimes included traveling with friends, gardening, sewing, and scrapbooking. She loved spending time with family and friends at Lake Texoma as well as her regular dinners with classmates and friends. Participating in family gatherings and cookouts were especially important to her.
Preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Chloteele Ballard and sister Laura Miller; Juanita is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Royce; daughter: Sara and Jon Jones; son: Wayne and Delisa Clark; and grandchildren: Cash Clark, Abigail Jones, Wyatt Jones, and Morgan Clark. Niece Julie Musgrove and her son Owen whom she treated and loved as her own. She is also survived by two brothers: David Ballard and Ray Ballard; sister, Sue Mercer; and many other nieces, nephews, extended family and beloved friends.
