Juanita "Nita" Rosa of Hinckley passed away Friday, August 22, 2025, at the age of 85.

Juanita Mae Harmon was born August 4, 1940, to Albert and Alma (Enz) Harmon in Renville, Minnesota.

In 1962, Nita met Thomas Rosa, they shared their love of bowling and were married March 31, 1963. Together they raised six children. Her talents were many, she was amazing at restoring houses and making them a home. Many times, when moving into a house that was in "rough shape" and others would look and say "hmmm", she only saw potential. After much hard work it was a home where others walked in and said "wow"! She was a phenomenal quilter, gardener, and an excellent cook...everyone loved her “hot dagos”. She enjoyed thrift stores, flea markets, and garage sales. The treasures she found were restored back to their original glory and natural beauty.

Nita was good at everything she did, and she saw the beauty in everything and everyone she met. She especially loved her family. Often times when visiting her children the grandchildren and great grandchildren lined up for kisses. She was loved and will be missed.

Nita is survived by her children Tami (Bill) Neubauer, Tim Carey, Todd (Jackie) Carey, Tina (Chris) Thompson, Tony Rosa, Troy (Carla) Rosa; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; sister Jeanie (Dick) Stadt; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Alma Harmon; husband Tom Rosa; siblings Joy Noe and Jerry Harmon.
