Judi England Bestler

Judi England Bestler, age 80, of Bloomington, Minnesota passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2025 at home. Judi was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Will and Gayle (Reep) England. She graduated from West High School in 1962. After high school, she attended University of Minnesota and Minnesota School of Business. Judi married her high school sweetheart, Doug Bestler in June, 1964. They moved to Texas while Doug served in the army. While there, Judi worked as a school secretary. Once they returned to Minnesota, Judi worked for the Bloomington Police Department and Control Data. Later, she worked for many years as a travel agent and traveled around the world with her job. She enjoyed playing golf and getting together with her card group. Judi loved working on her high school reunions and keeping in touch with high school friends.
After retiring, Judi and Doug built a lake home with Judi's sister and her husband in Akeley, Minnesota. One of the greatest joys in Judi's life was spending time with her nieces and nephews and their children. Every card given to the children was signed, "We love you! The GREATS!"
Judi is survived by her husband of 60 years, Doug, and her sister, Jan (Jim) Turner. Judi will be missed by her large extended family including nieces, nephews, cousins and all of the "Greats." Judi was preceded in death by her brother, Brian England.
