Judith Ann "Judi" Cathcart

Judith 'Judi' Ann Cathcart, age 81, of New Castle, passed away the early morning of June 28, 2024, at the Lakes at Jefferson.
Born March 21, 1943, in Fort Wayne, IN, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Betty (Brockman) Zell.
On Sept. 24, 1966, she married her husband of 57 years, Mr. Donald M. Cathcart. He survives.
Judi earned her nursing degree and was a nurse for several years before she spent her days being a homemaker. Being an artist, baking, and skiing with her family, were some of Judi's favorite hobbies. Most of all, she loved spoiling her grandchildren and will always be remembered as a loving mom and grandma. She was a member of the Northminster Presbyterian Church.
Along with her husband, she is survived by their two sons, David (Katherine) Cathcart of Dallas, TX, and Brian (Victoria) Cathcart of Cranberry, Twp., PA; one sister, Sharon Slough, and four grandchildren, Isabell, Emily, Amelia, and Jack.
Visitation will be held on Tues. July 2nd from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.
A funeral service will be held immediately following visitation at 6:00 PM, at the funeral home, with Rev. Jordan Rimmer officiating.
Burial will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery, in Olanta, PA.
