Judith Dillon Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Hays Funeral Home - Northborough on Mar. 8, 2026.
SHREWSBURY

Judith Ann Dillon (Patterson), 58, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2026, at her home surrounded by the love of her family after a courageous battle with ALS.

Born on December 31, 1967, in Holyoke, Massachusetts, Judy was the daughter of the late James Patterson and Anita Bennett. She lived a life filled with creativity, love for her family, and a spirit that could brighten any room.

Judy had a beautiful artistic talent and loved to draw. Her artwork reflected the creativity and imagination she carried with her throughout her life. She also had a contagious laugh that those who knew her will never forget. Judy was the kind of person who would always be there when someone needed her. She cared deeply for the people in her life and always tried to give what she could, even during the hardest times.

When ALS began to take hold of her body, it never took her heart. Even as the disease progressed, Judy continued to show strength and determination, doing everything she could to remain present for the people she loved.

Her greatest joy in life was being a mother and grandmother. She devoted her life to raising her children and cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren, who meant the world to her.

Judy leaves behind her loving children Stephanie and her partner Mark, Steven, Rebecca, and Michael and his wife Luna. She was a proud grandmother to Anessa, Elliemae, Leonardo, Anastasia, Emmanuele, Hayzel, and Leya. She is also survived by her brother Jim, her nephew Devin, and her dear friend Gerald Hanson, who remained faithfully by her side. She was predeceased by her parents James Patterson and Anita Bennett, as well as her brother Daniel and sister Ann.

A private memorial service will be held at Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main Street, Northborough, Massachusetts. To leave a condolence for Judith's family, please visit www.HaysFuneralHome.com.
