Judith Ann Harlan, 87, of Shenango Township passed away the evening of June 8, 2025 at UPMC Jameson.
Born in New Castle on May 3, 1938, Judith was the daughter of the late James E. and Opal F. George Lawrence.
Judith is survived by her beloved husband, James Arthur Harlan. The two were married on December 29, 1956.
Judith had worked as an Investigator in the Office of Personal Management for the United States Government. She retired after twenty years.
Judith was an avid reader. She also enjoyed knitting, crocheting and walking. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Judith's greatest joy was spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband, Judith is survived by her four children, Jeff Harlan (Norma), Doug Harlan (Laurie), Connie Kennedy (John) and Katherine Laufer, two brothers, George Lawrence (Renee) and James Lawrence (Loette), her sister, Connie Crosby, eleven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Judith was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Jean Lawrence.
Visitation will be on Wednesday 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St. A Funeral Service, officiated by Dave Pacifico will be held on Thursday at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m.
Entombment will be in Parkside Mausoleum.
