Judith Kella
Age 81 of Yorkville, Illinois, formerly of Ohio, died Monday, March 20, 2023 at Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora, Illinois.
Born May 21, 1941 in Kocomo, Indiana, Judith Ann was a daughter of Francis Johannes and Mary Anne (Wade) Warner. She graduated high school from North High School in Willoughby, Ohio, and on September 23, 1961 she married Frederick Karl Kellam.
Judy worked for the Federal Reserve in Texas, and then she moved to Illinois and gained employment Houghton Miflin Publishing as an accountant, where she worked for over 20 years. She was an avid gardener, taking great pleasure in growing her plants and vegetables. Judy also enjoyed sewing and participated in local sewing clubs. She was a die hard Chicago Bears and Chicago White Sox fan, but her true happy place was at Woodhaven Lakes in Sublet, Illinois. Judy had a permanent camping spot there where she would spend as much of her free time as she could.
She was a straightforward woman who had a way of making it clear where you stood with her, but she was also a loving and caring mother and grandmother who cherished her family.

Judith was preceded in death by her parents: Francis Johannes and Mary Anne (Jack) Warner; her husband, Frederick "Fritz" Kellam, and her daughter, Christy Sue Kellam.
