Judith “Judy” Carolyn Lear, age 75, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, MO.
On January 1, 1951, Judy was born to the late Herschel and Mildred Glenn Price in Sikeston, MO.
Judy lived all of her life in Sikeston where she raised her two daughters, Jennifer and Nicki. She also worked for the Ferguson Medical Group in Sikeston for thirty years until her retirement there as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
She was of the baptist faith, and a member of the Murray Lane Baptist Church in Sikeston, MO.
Judy is survived by one daughter, Jennifer ( Earl) Bohnert of Bertrand, MO; one granddaughter Cheyenne Faith Adams of Sikeston, MO; one grandson Ethan (Abigail) Jarvis of Sikeston, MO; and two great grandchildren Waylon and Emersynn Jarvis of Sikeston, MO; two brothers: Herschel “Lyn” Price (Rose) of Palm Bay, FL, Douglas (Kathleen) Price of Irving, TX; and her beloved fur baby Stripes, whom she loved dearly.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one daughter Lezley Nicole Adams.
In addition to the survivors mentioned, she had a way about her that made you feel like family even if you weren't. Her smile and laugh were contagious and she was always putting others before herself. As a final act of giving, Judy was a registered Organ and Tissue Donor, so she was still giving to others, even in death. Whether you knew her as family, friend, co-worker or acquaintance, if Judy was in your life, I'm sure you are smiling remembering a good memory from the past.
A celebration of life for Judy will be held on Monday, March 2, 2026 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at 5:00 p.m., at the Murray Lane Baptist Church of Sikeston, MO. Pastor Joe McCullough of Murray Lane Baptist Church will officiate.
