Judith Adele Mrasz, 72, of East Vandergrift, passed away on Monday August 25, 2025, at Embassy of Saxonburg.
Born September 21, 1952, in Pittsburgh; she was a daughter of the late Edward M. Mrasz and Viola "Vi" (Gordish) Kennedy.
Judith was a 1970 graduate of Kiski Area High School, graduating in the Top Ten of her class. She later attended CCAC, where she majored in International Studies, learning to speak Russian and several other languages. Judith was employed as one of the first women laborers to work at Allegheny Ludlum in Leechburg, PA.
Judy loved the Sun! She also loved film, music, and her canine companions. Judy was a voracious reader of literature and was known to always have a book she was enveloped in. Her love for travel and adventure, took her to beautiful places around the world. One of her favorite destinations was noted as Madeira Island, Portugal.
Judy was a truly free spirit and was remembered by all as a Natural Force of Beauty in her youth. An absolute remarkable woman; she will not be forgotten.
In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her brother, Michael E. Mrasz.
Judy is survived by her siblings, Andrew J. Mrasz of Shadyside, Amy L. Bufalini of Vandergrift, Eric B. Mrasz of Apollo; as well as cousins, nephews, nieces, and many other family members and friends.
At the request of the family, services are private, and have been entrusted to the Brady-Curran Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc. Vandergrift. A memorial gathering will be held on September 21, 2025. A forthcoming Time and Location will be announced by the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Judy's memory as a survivor, to the American Cancer Society, 106 Merchant Lane, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
