Donald W. Kealey, 87, of Monroeville, formerly of Saltsburg, passed away on Friday, October 3, 2025 in his home.

Born June 22, 1938 in Jeannette, he was the son of the late William H. and Lenora E. (Jackson) Kealey. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Don was employed as a cross-country long-haul truck driver for North American Van Lines for several years and finished his career as a custodian for the Blairsville School District in 2003.

He was member of the Sons of Zebedee Lutheran Church, Saltsburg; American Legion Post #945; and managed the ring at the Stony Brooke Saddle Club.

Don was a Boy Scout leader for several years. He enjoyed raising goats, chickens, and horses. Don loved deer hunting as well.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Della A. (Gilliam) Kealey on May 31, 2017; son Leonard Beatty; stepson, Robert M. Beatty; and a brother, Ronald H. Kealey.

Don is survived by his children, Wanda E. (William) Gerber of Monroeville; William (Sue) Kealey of Irwin; Wayne Kealey of Apollo; and Donna Cogley of Vandergrift; fourteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one great-great grandson; his sister-in-law, Joyce Kealey; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the Sons of Zebedee Lutheran Church, 422 Salt St., Saltsburg, PA 15681 with Reverend Keith McCutcheon officiating. Burial in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont. Military honors will be accorded by the Saltsburg American Legion Honor Guard.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Don's memory to the Church at the address above.
