Born on July 9th, 1943 in Latrobe, he was the son of the late Clarence and Pauline (Steele) Emanuel. He was a 1962 graduate of Saltsburg High School.
Buzz worked at National Roll for 29 years before starting Emanuel's Auto Repair, where he was the owner and operator.
He was a member of American Legion Post #57 and the Nowrytown Sportsman Club.
Buzz enjoyed hunting, he could fix anything, and always willing to help anyone in need.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Carolynn (Wayne) Baird and Marlene (Guido) Chierici; and his brother, Robert Emanuel.
Buzz is survived by his wife of 60 years, Kathy A. (Gais) Emanuel of Nowrytown; sons, Nick (Tracey) Emanuel of Nowrytown, Justin (Meghan) Emanuel of Ohio, and Brandon (Alyssa) Emanuel of Saltsburg; grandchildren, Nick J. Emanuel Jr., Alex Emanuel, Addison Emanuel; his sister, Pauline Bell of Saltsburg; his brother, Kay (Pauline) Emanuel of Ellicott City, MD; and numerous nieces and nephews.
At the request of the family, all services are private and have been entrusted to the Curran Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Saltsburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Buzz's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude’s Place Memphis, TN, 38105.
