Willie Polke 71, of Vandergrift passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, in the Armstrong County Memorial hospital, he resided in the McMurtry Towers Vandergrift Highrise.
A graduate of Kiski Area High School class of 1973, he enjoyed his family very much, he liked listening to James Brown on his CD player and watching the Jefferson's and Sandford and Son. He enjoyed going to Motown shows and kicking back at the motel as he would say. He had been employed by Allegheny Ludlum in West Leechburg and a former member of the Vandergrift Elks IBPOE Lodge #838.
Survivors include his brother Ricki Polke of Arizona.
His favorite nephews Marlin and Tyrone Polke a niece Rasheedat Johnson.
His special hidden angels that played a part in Willies life his caregivers Andrea Cande Freeman, Carole Trentin, Kimberly Trentin, Justin Yarbrough, Lakeisha Galloway, Marlene Adams, Tyrone and Marlin Polke.

Extended family Florence Bowlding, Herlana Walker, Lillie Walker and James Green.
Mgmt./residents of McMurtry Towers.
His siblings Rosie Price, Sarah Polke, Florence Johnson, Samuel Polke and Malinda Green.
Family and friends will be received Friday from 2pm till 8pm in the DUNMIRE-KERR & ROWE FUNERAL HOME, INC. 244 Franklin Avenue, Vandergrift. A Going Home Service will be held Saturday at 11am in the funeral home with Pastor Lakeisha Galloway officiating. Burial will follow in the Vandergrift Cemetery.
