Judith Ann Savastano, 83, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family.
For many years, she served as a dedicated secretary at the Ocean County College, where her warm smile and steady presence became a source of comfort and support for students, faculty, and staff alike. She approached every task with grace and purpose, believing wholeheartedly in the power of education and community.
Upon retiring, she embraced a new calling as a Eucharistic Minister, offering compassion, faith, and comfort to the women of the Ocean County Jail.
At home, she expressed her love in the most heartfelt of ways-especially through her baking. Her Irish bread, lovingly made each year around St. Patrick's Day, became a cherished family tradition.
Her legacy is one of compassion, faith, and deep family love. She leaves behind a family who adored her, friends who treasured her, and a community made better by her presence.
She is survived by her son James and his wife Christine, her son Justin, and her loving grandchildren Cameron Grace, Shane and Emma, her sister JoEllen, brother Gary and loving family and friends. Though she will be dearly missed, her spirit continues in the lives she touched and the love she taught us to share. Visitation will take place at The Carmona Bolen Home for Funeral 412 Main Street, Toms River, NJ on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, from 9am-11:30am followed by a Mass at St. Joseph RC Church 685 Hooper Ave., Toms River, NJ. Burial will take place following the Mass at St. Joseph Cemetery, Cedar Grove Road, Toms River, NJ. Condolences can be sent to www.carmonabolenfh.com
