With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Judy Irene Lipps. Judy was born in Clinton Oklahoma on December 1st, 1942 and went to be with the Lord on August 25, 2025 at the age of 82. Her departure leaves a void that will be deeply felt by all who knew her, but her legacy of warmth, kindness, and unwavering love will forever remain.
Judy was the kind of woman who knew how to love deeply and unconditionally, and her love reached beyond words, beyond time, beyond earth and now into eternity. As a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she poured her heart into her family, creating a haven of love and support that will be cherished forever. Any friend, daughter, husband, granddaughter, or great-grandchild would consider themselves lucky to have known the depth of her affection. Her patience was truly admirable, and she possessed a remarkable sense of calm that radiated to those around her.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Keith Lipps, whose love story with Judy was an inspiration to all. She also leaves behind her daughters, Debbie Compton and her husband Chris Pruett and Kim Bruggeman and her husband Christian Bruggeman; her grandson, Minke Compton; her granddaughter, Kayla Case, and her husband, Parker Case; and her precious great-grandchildren, Sutton, Palmer, Clay, and Collins, who brought immense joy to her life.
Judy's love for her husband, Keith, was a constant and unwavering presence throughout their decades together. Her great-grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and she delighted in every moment spent with them, from playing dolls, to giving the best tickles, she cherished every moment of watching them grow. Family gatherings were a source of immense joy for her, and she poured love into every detail, often showcasing her talent for baking, and creating cherished memories. She also had a special talent and love for making pickles, a talent she passed onto her daughter Kim. Her granddaughter, Kayla, fondly remembers countless summer memories spent with her, from going to best of books, grocery store shopping to simply enjoying lunch together. She was her grandson, Minke's, biggest fan and beamed with pride watching him play college football. Always offering sound advice and a comforting presence, she was the one you called when you needed a listening ear or a word of wisdom.
Judy will be profoundly missed by all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, a reminder of the power of love, the importance of family, and the beauty of a life well-lived.
