The beloved wife of the late Jerry Moore; cherished mother of Angie (Steve) Richards; treasured grandmother of Gabriella Richards; loving sister of Sherry (John) Harper, Steve Palecek and the late Alvin Jr. and Jerry Palecek; loving aunt of John (Ashley) Harper and Joe (Maddi) Harper; doting dogmom of Brady; cherished daughter of the late Alvin and Helen Palecek (nee Watt). She was a loving cousin, great-aunt and friend to many.
Judy will be remembered for her strength, resilience, and deep pride in her 23 years of sobriety-a hard-won journey that reflected her courage, perseverance, and commitment to living fully and honestly. Family was the center of her world, and she cherished every moment spent laughing, sharing stories, and making memories with those she loved most. She also found great joy and peace in trips to the beach, where the sound of the waves and the warmth of the sun mirrored her appreciation for life's simple blessings.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025 at 4:00 pm at Hutchens-Stygar Funeral & Cremation Center, 5987 Mid Rivers Mall Dr., St. Charles, MO 63379. The visitation will follow the service until 8:00 pm. Memorial contributions have been suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
