Judy Ann Porcelli (née Robinson)

Judy Ann Porcelli, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at Mountainside Hospital in Glen Ridge, New Jersey. She was 70 years old.

Born on March 10, 1955, in Newark, NJ, Judy grew up in West Caldwell and graduated from James Caldwell High School in 1973. She went on to work in the family business, Verona CW, where she contributed with dedication and pride. After marrying and starting her family, Judy discovered her true passion as a preschool teacher at Sandy Lane Nursery School in Belleville, where she worked from 1993 until her retirement in 2012. Her gentle heart and nurturing spirit touched the lives of countless children and families throughout her career.

Judy is survived by her devoted husband of 37 years, Anthony Porcelli; her loving children, Jason Paglia and Samantha Joy; and her cherished granddaughter, Abigail Marie Paglia, who was truly the light of her life. She is also survived by her sister, JoAnn Hempel; her nephew, Jake Hempel; her niece, Dina Gavris; and her stepson, A.J. Porcelli, along with his wife and children.

She was predeceased by her parents, Judy and Anthony Lubertazzi, and her sister, Joy Ann Pieri.

Judy will be remembered for her kindness, and unwavering love for her family and friends. She brought joy to those around her and created a home full of laughter, comfort, and unconditional love. Her presence will be deeply missed and forever
