Julee Ann Buckman, 63, passed away August 7, 2024 at Lifecare Center of Grandview, Grandview, Missouri.
She was born July 21, 1961 in Larned, the daughter of Harold and Alma "Amy" Ringeisen Bauer.
Growing up in Larned and later moving to Conway Springs, she was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Conway Springs and an active member of the Altar Society. She was a 1979 graduate of Larned High School, grew up a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and was a Paraprofessional for many years at USD 495. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, canning, cooking, and collecting antiques.
On June 4, 2011 she married Chris Eugene Buckman at Hudson; he survives.
Other survivors include: mother, Alma "Amy" Bauer, Buhler, two daughters, April Renea Bilbrey, Carlisle, Pennsylvania, Jessie (Lynn) Miller, Larned; two sons, Justin (Janet) Hammond, Larned, Eathan Hammond, Larned; two sisters, Susan Ward, Norton, Lynda Murphy, Larned; brother, James Bauer, Larned; seven grandchildren, Ben, Claire, Mylee, Braxton, Haylee, Mason, Carter.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Funeral mass will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Larned, with Father Anselm Eke, MSP presiding. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned, with family present 5-7 p.m. and a vigil service at 7 p.m. Burial will be in Larned Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to Wounded Warrior Project in care of Beckwith Mortuary, PO Box 477, Larned, Kansas 67550. Personal condolences may be left at www.beckwithmortuary.com.
