Julia Vargo Huszar

Julia, age 79, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, June 3, 2023. She was a lifelong resident of Albany, LA. Julia along with her husband worked hard in their fields, planting, and harvesting crops. Together they raised and sold plants in their greenhouses and ran a successful plant nursery. Julia was a member of the Hungarian Presbyterian Church. Julia loved her family with all her heart and was especially proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved spending time with them.
Julia is survived by her daughter, Carol Huszar Perry (Leo); grandchildren, Clinton Nicholas Perry, and Meghan Elizabeth Perry (Corey); great-grandchildren, Brody Scott Hanks, Avery Kate Hughes, and Landon Kole Hughes; brother, Charles Varga (Linda); sister-in-law, Patsy Huszar; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Julia is preceded in death by her loving husband, Steve 'Pete' Huszar; infant son, Richard David Huszar; parents, Steve and Mary Varga; sisters, Ethel Uli, Mary Ann Blount, and Betty Rose Fricano; and brother, Steve Vargo.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation from the Chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, 12012 Hwy 190 West, Hammond, LA. on Saturday, June 10, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Albany-Hungarian Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
