Julia "Frankie" McElligott

Julia, affectionately known as "Frankie", was born on Aug. 2nd 1945 in County Galway, Ireland to William and Bridget Healy. At the age of 18 she emigrated to New York. During her life she was the embodiment of strength and grace. She worked hard but she enjoyed life. She loved people and being out and about. She was a storyteller, often telling great tales of years gone by. Caring for her family was her utmost priority, often sacrificing her own wants to make sure theirs were met. Most importantly, her devotion to her faith was steel in its strength. She is survived by her daughter Charlotte, son-in-law Marcus, sister Margaret, and brother Tommy. As our dear friend says, she "left with dignity"
