Julie Jan Adams was born on August 13, 1956, to Richard Lionel Adams and Ruth Lucille Adams. She was the fourth of six children. Julie attended Peshastin-Dryden Grade School, Junior High, and High School. She served as Secretary of the Honor Society, was actively involved with the Pep Squad, and played lead trumpet in marching and concert bands. On September 7, 1980, she married Mark Adams. Together, they had one son, Edlin Lionel Adams, named in honor of Julie's parents. Julie and Edlin ("Eddy") were constant companions. She volunteered as a teacher's assistant in his class every year, coached his Odyssey of the Mind team, and even played on his ice hockey team. Julie deeply loved the outdoors, enjoying hiking and biking, but her favorite pastime was roller skating. She skated until the age of 60, when she had to stop due to osteoporosis. Mid-Summer, you might find her at the helm of a 25 foot sloop, making her way up the center of Lake Chelan, a smile on her face as she heeled the boat at forty degrees. Julie was known for her warmth, kindness, and the love she shared with her many friends and family. Not wanting to miss any details, she was usually the last to leave any party or event she attended. She is survived by her husband Mark, her son Eddy, siblings April (Greg) Boyce, Ross (Cheryl) Adams, Lonna West, and Melissa (Tom) Dietrich, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, a brother-in-law, and a stepson. Goodbye Doodens Goodbye Julie Jan Goodbye Iules Arrangements by Jones & Jones - Betts Funeral Home.
