Julie DeForge, a resident of Dodgeville, passed away on Monday, June 5th , 2023, following a short illness.
She was born on February 21st, 1961 to Peter and Ethel Ebert. She was raised in Ripley, Michigan where she attended Hancock schools. Many will remember her as a permanent fixture of Festival Foods in Houghton, where she worked for 34 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Peter Ebert and Ethel Isaacson. She is survived by her husband, Don, her children: Rebecca Harma (Aho), Jennifer Harma, Theresa (Eric) Bausano, and Donald (Stephanie) DeForge.
Her siblings: Christine (Pat) Kolka, Donald (Nikki) Ebert, Susan (Jim) Ebert Cragle, Sandy Salo, Alan(Meredith) Ebert, Geoff (Tammy) Ebert, and Joel (Victor Frasher) Ebert.
Her grandchildren: Joshua, Michael (Kayla), James, Gabriel, Braden, Jerry, Evan, Paige, Jorja Leigh, Alli,and Emeryn, and her great grandchildren Easton, Keaton, and Odyssey.
A memorial service celebrating Julie’s life will be held on Friday, June 16th from 3-6 at the Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in Hancock.
