It is with deepest sorrow to announce the passing of Julie Conrad Foxwell, age 66 of High Point, North Carolina, on February 20th, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Julie was born in Norfolk, Virginia to Robert Walter Conrad and Lucille Elizabeth Conrad. She was married to the love of her life, Steven Allen Foxwell, Sr. with whom she shared three spirited children: Steven Allen Foxwell, Jr., Stephanie Hope Loflin and Christopher Robert Foxwell.
Julie loved to read, play Yahtzee, and win everyone's money in poker. Julie was known to friends and family as eternally positive, open-minded, stoic and hard-working.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and both sons. She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie (Brian) Loflin; sister, Jeannine Youngs; grandson, Kaleb Loflin; granddaughter, Lillian Carlton; long-time companion, Steve Lints and his children, Jami Levine and Kerri Lackey; much-loved extended family; and her loving full bred dachshund, Gustav (Gus) Friedrich.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 1, at Archdale First Church of God with Rev. Hallie Scott officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m., at the church.
In lieu of flowers, Julie asked for donations to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude’s Pl. Memphis, TN 38105. Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale is assisting the family.
