Julie Anne (Silva) Kasson 60 passed peacefully July 9, 2025, at Diversicare of Sedgwick, Kansas. She was born January 6, 1965, at the Bitburg AFB in Bitburg, German as the fifth child of Ralph and Yvonne (Colburn) Silva Sr. Julie with her parents and siblings, were stationed at Air Force bases in Sun Prairie, WI and Colorado Springs, CO.
She graduated from Palmer High School in Colorado Springs, CO in 1983, and attended the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs. Julie worked for many years as a Pharmacy Technician in Colorado Springs, CO.
Julie moved to Lawrence, Kansas in 1993 to be near her sisters Stephanie and Victoria and to attend the University of Kansas. She also worked as an Orthopedic Medical Center Manager in Lawrence.
Julie relocated to Wichita, KS to live with her sister Victoria for several years before her health issues moved her to long term care in Sedgwick, Kansas.

Private family service will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to Our Lady Of Guadalupe Church of Newton and left in care of Petersen Funeral Home.
