Julie Ann Phillips, 51, of Marion, Indiana, passed away at 3:35 a.m. on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.

Born in Marion on August 29, 1973, Julie was the daughter of Donald Jordan and Mitzi Wheeler. She was the wife to Wilbur Phillips, who survives her.

Julie dedicated her life to being a homemaker, creating a warm and loving environment for her family. She found joy in the simple pleasures--fishing at Majenica Creek, dressing up with her favorite jewelry, collecting angel figurines, and dancing to music that moved her spirit. Her love for animals was evident in the special bond she shared with her three cherished dogs: Isabelle, Zuzu, and Peanut Butter.

Julie's memory lives on through her mother, Mitzi Wheeler of Marion; her husband, Wilbur Phillips of Marion; her children, Morgan Brittany Jordan of Marion, Sarah Phillips of Van Buren, Zachary Phillips of Marion, and Miranda Phillips of Amboy; her brother, Adam (Stacy) Jordan of Zephyrhills, FL; her sister, Autumn Cotton of Tampa, FL; and her grandchildren, Kai-lani Gramling, Amarah Silvers, Harrison Hunnicutt, and Janae Cook. She is also remembered fondly by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Jordan, Jr.

In accordance with Julie's wishes, there will be no public visitation or funeral service.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
