Julieanne C. Beck

Julieanne Carol Beck, age 84, of Neenah, died peacefully on Friday, September 26, 2025, at Copper Stone Assisted Living.
She was born February 8, 1941, in Berlin, WI, the daughter of Leo and Helen Ewald Page. Julie was a 1959 graduate of Berlin High School. She attended Marquette University. On July 14, 1991, she was united in marriage to Jay Beck at Parfreyville United Methodist Church in Waupaca.
Julie worked as a receptionist and chair-side dental assistant for doctors Bourassa, Pence and Darkow. For many years she volunteered as a Docent at the EAA Museum in Oshkosh, the animal shelter and ThedaCare Medical Center-Neenah. Julie was a faithful, active member of Faith Global Methodist Church in Neenah, serving as a Trustee, usher, communion coordinator, on funeral lunch and worship committees, plus Seniors of Faith. She enjoyed walking, running, reading and knitting, plus especially loved listening to music and playing multiple instruments.
She is survived by her son, Kirk (Cynthia) Griswold; daughter, Alison (Erik) Schecter; four grandchildren, Miriam and Olivia Griswold and Marissa and Maci Schecter; stepson, Tod (Nicole) Beck; and four step-grandchildren, Taylor, Parker, Noah and Claire Beck. Julie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jay Beck, on October 21, 2017; son, Paul Griswold; and stepson, Gregg Beck.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., at Faith Global Methodist Church in Neenah. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Paul Gruenberg officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Berlin. Arrangements have been entrusted to Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin. Memorials may be directed to Neenah Animal Shelter.
