Juliette Woodruff Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 22, 2025.
Juliette Winnifred Woodruff, born in Port Hope on March 14, 1978, passed away peacefully at Toronto Western Hospital on August 21, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. She is reunited with her beloved mother, Ruth Woodruff (née Brimacombe).

She leaves behind her cherished daughter, Peyton; her dedicated partner, James Colton; and her trusted furry companion, Boston. Juliette is also lovingly remembered by her father, Albert Woodruff; her sisters, Annette and Jeanette; nephew, Chase; sister-in-law Jennifer Ayres; and nieces Jaime and Madison Ayres.

In her personal life, Juliette had a deep love for horses, orchids, music, and fitness. Her dedication to exercise reflected her interest in anatomy and her desire to live each day with vitality.

Through her work, Juliette brought relief to many people living with chronic pain. Known for her tireless work ethic, compassion, and dedication, she approached her career with both skill and heart-qualities that left a lasting impression on her clients and colleagues.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to Maureen for her unwavering support and guidance, which meant so much to Juliette. They also wish to thank The Orthopaedic Therapy Clinic Inc. for providing her with the opportunity to grow in a field she was so passionate about.

A Celebration of Life will be held on October 26, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Masonic Lodge, 54 Toronto Road, Port Hope.

Peyton,
I´m sending my love to you peyton and your family. It´s been awhile since we´ve talked but I hope you know I´m always here for you. The welcoming environment Juliette showed me is something I will always remember. Her warm smile and laughter fill some of my favourite childhood memories. I remember playing Just Dance in your basement laughing till we fell asleep. I´m grateful for her and her love for having fun and being creative.

This is such sad news. She was a friend and gifted therapist who looked after me for 23 yeats. As a performer she saved me many times and rehabilitated me from injury in a way I came to rely on.
She worked so hard during her cancer, always fighting for herself, career and Peyton who she cares so much about. She was dedicated to Peyton. She was dedicated to her clients and her vocation as a therapist, always striving to do and be bettet.
My condolences to you all
Raoul

I am heartbroken to say goodbye to such a beautiful soul. She faced her long battle with cancer with unimaginable strength, grace, and courage. Through it all, she never lost her light - always full of life, endlessly kind, and deeply compassionate.
She was there for me in one of the hardest times of my life, when my brother was diagnosed with ALS. She listened, cared, and gave comfort in a way only someone with a truly open heart could. I will never forget her warmth and her strength.
I also saw firsthand what an incredible mother she was - always by her daughter's side, cheering her on, supporting her in everything, and showing such pure, unconditional love.
Her presence lit up any room. Her spirit was generous, joyful, and loving to the very end. The world is a little dimmer without her in it, but her impact and her memory will live on in all of us who were lucky enough to know her.
Rest in peace, my dear friend. You will never be forgotten.

I was heartbroken to hear of Juliette´s passing. We met in elementary school at Central Public and quickly became close friends through French Immersion. Our class shared such a strong bond, and I´ll always treasure the memories we made together-through Hawkins and into high school. Though our paths took different turns, Juliette remained a dear friend. She was truly a shining light, and I know she will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her. My heart is with her daughter, her family, and all who loved her.

Juliette, I will miss you dearly and know that we´ll meet again. You were always positive, kind and your spirit so bright. Hailey and our family will be here for Peyton, your light lives on in her. Love and miss you my friend. Xo
