Jules was predeceased by his beloved wife, Marianne (Shane) Rosato, with whom he shared two children, Julius Rosato, Jr. (wife Denise) and Loretta Keogh (husband Sean); five grandchildren Jenna, Amanda, Brianna, Dillon, and Hunter; great-granddaughter, Dakota, and his faithful companion of the past 12 years, his pug, Tuffy.
Julius was a devoted son to his late parents, Albert and Stella, a brother to Maryann Provini and Theresa Natarcola who predeceased him, and surviving sisters Dianne Swift (husband Thomas) Antoinette Frate (husband Paul). He was, also, a cherished brother in law to Brian Provini and Louis Natarcola, as well as an adored uncle to many nieces and nephews.
A graduate of Keyport High School, he proudly served the U.S. Army in Korea during the Vietnam War. He later became Manager at Matty's Auto Parts in Matawan. He was, also, a 50 year member of Lincoln Hose Fire Company in Keyport and a member of the Joe Pennetto Bowling League in Hazlet. He loved spending time outdoors hunting with friends and family. He especially loved hosting family and friends at his backyard pool, affectionately referred to as "Uncle Jules Pool Club".
He will be missed by his family and friends, but all are comforted knowing he is finally at peace and reunited with his beloved, wife, sisters, and parents.
Visitation will be held 2 PM to 4 PM on Friday, January 17th at Day Funeral Home and again 7 PM to 9 PM on Friday, January 17th at Day Funeral Home in Keyport, New Jersey.
A mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 18th at St.Joseph's RCC in Keyport, NJ at TBA. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Keyport, NJ.
