Julius Charles "Jule" Ross, of Sun City West, Arizona, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2025, at the age of 81. Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, Julius earned degrees from the University of Cincinnati and Xavier University and was a revered elementary teacher for 29 years in the Milford Exempted Village Schools system outside of Cincinnati, his own school district growing up.

Julius's lifetime CV also included myriad other jobs including a butcher, intramural sports director, high school basketball scorekeeper, and even professional furniture mover. All done with the classic Julius care and dry sense of humor. He retired from his true passion of teaching in 2005 and moved, with his wife, Janice, to Arizona later that fall.

Julius is survived by his devoted wife of 57 years, Janice (Roberts) Ross; his daughter Tricia Ross (Anne Schlomer); brothers-in-law Greg Roberts and Jack L. Roberts (Michael Owens); niece Kaila (Spencer) Egan; and numerous cousins from the Patterson, Haney, Turner, and Wiederhold families.

He was preceded in death by his mother Elinor (Patterson) Ross; sister-in-law Mary (Harmeier) Roberts; and cousins Kathy (Haney) and Derl Turner and Susan (Haney) and Charlie Wiederhold.

A small, private ceremony will be held at Camino del Sol in Sun City West, Arizona. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Julius's memory to the National Kidney Foundation (www.kidney.org) or to the Milford Schools Foundation (www.milfordschoolsfoundation.org)
