June has been a special friend to over many years. We have spent many hours antiquing and eating out along with other special friends. June was always so gracious, so kind, so interested and always made me feel special! And she inspired me to be a better person. I will miss her so much!

A very sweet charming lady, wanted to go for a motorcycle ride with my husband. She never did. She was one of a kind, she loved teacups. Barb and ken.

What a gracious, openhearted soul! I am sitting here in sadness, but gratitude for her. I have several memories, but the one which stands out most in my mind is one example of her absolute selflessness and hospitality. I believe it was in 1985 while I was going through either mid-term or final exams at SBTS, and my mother came to visit me from Hawai'i. There was a particularly strong cold snap, and she was not adequately acclimated to the change in weather. Just a few days after arriving, she came down with pneumonia and was placed in the hospital for several days. Somehow, June got word of Mom's illness. As busy as she was, she dropped all plans and contacted me. While I was in exams, she stayed in my mother's hospital room with her ALL DAY, reading a book in silence, and providing her kind, comforting presence. I cannot tell you how much that meant to me and my family. And I'm sure that anyone reading this is not surprised at all. Doesn't that sound just like her? My love and condolences to all of you, with tremendous gratitude for this dear and loving soul.

I count it a high privilege to have known June Honeycutt. The love of Christ in her heart was reflected plainly for all to see in the ways she interacted with people. She was my late mother's best friend, and she made Mom's stay in assisted living much more rewarding and pleasant. My sympathy and prayers for her loved ones. Comfort yourselves with the reality that June has reached her eternal home, and her temporary home here on earth is better place because of her.
