On September 30, 2023 the angels came down and took June to Heaven. June passed away at Theda Care Medical Center in Neenah with her family by her side after a brief illness. She was born on December 2, 1962 to the late David and Irene (Wischow) Brennand. She graduated from Winneconne High School in 1980 and married Rick Rubbert on November 13, 1982. June enjoyed working with Rick on their farm in the Town of Clayton. She raised chickens, ducklings and turkeys and had many other animals. She could make any animal into a pet. She enjoyed crafting and crochet and could make many different things. She also worked as a cook at Holtz's Supper Club which later became Biggars and was famous for her soups!
In addition to her husband Rick, June is survived by her sons: Justin and his four children: Evan, Lauryn, Jackson and Emmersyn; Jacob and his son, Wyatt. She is also survived by her sibling's: Judy Brennand, Joe Brennand, Jackie (Dave) Wiese, Jim (Amy) Brennand and Joyce Brennand; her in-laws: Kris Rubbert, Mike Rubbert, Kathy (Jim) Lindskens, Kay (Rickie) Beyer; and by her mother-in-law, Delores Rubbert.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday October 10, 2023 at the Kessler-Fahrenkrug Funeral Home 304 S. Commercial St., Neenah. Visitation will be on Monday at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will be in Clayton Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff at Theda Care ICU in Neenah for all the wonderful care given to June and her family while she was there.
