Patricia (Beans) Rubbert (nee Burke) passed away suddenly on July 28, 2025.
Pat was born December 2nd 1930 in Allentown PA to James and Katherine Burke (nee Donar). Pat graduated from Allentown high school and worked at the Bell Telephone Company utilizing her artistic talents for print advertising. She met a star athlete, Albert Rubbert who was attending Muhlenberg College just blocks from her home. They were married September 5th 1953.
Pat and Al lived in Fort Lee NJ before moving to New City NY on Halloween Day 1959 where she resided for 65 years before her passing, Pat and Al raised six children (Billy, Ricky, Pati, Christopher, Kathy and Ed). It was a very close neighborhood with kids the same ages who shared block parties, ballgames and memories. They both enjoyed watching their children's sporting events and Pat rarely missed one even with six children involved in sports through high school, college and beyond. The sports page was the first one Pat would open with the morning paper. Pat was an avid painter in her younger years, loved the scratch off tickets, NY Giants & Yankees. Her favorite thing besides being a Mom was being a Nana to several grandchildren. As the kids grew up and Al retired after four plus decades in the transportation Industry, they found time to travel to Super bowls and Europe and with their many friends. They formed a NY Giants Club in New City and frequented the races at Saratoga.
Pat was predeceased by her parents, Her husband of 64 years Albert and several of the NY Giants Club members. Pat is survived by her children Billy & Diane Rubbert of Valley Cottage, Rick of New City, Pati McGuinness of SC, Christopher & Lisa Rubbert of Middletown, Kathy Wells of SC and Ed & Elisa of Cape May as well as numerous grandchildren. Pat never had a bad word to say about anyone. She enjoyed decorating her home for every season & holiday. Christmas will never be the same without her. A wake will be held from 3-7 pm on Monday August 4th with a Mass at St Augustine's Catholic Church on Tuesday the 5th at 10am. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to St Jude's Children Hospital,
