Justin Lee Hamby, passed away on Friday, April 18, 2025 from a motorcycle accident.
He was the son of Daniel Lee Hamby and Heather Welker Lawton
A native of Alamance. County, Justin was a man with many great attributes, always smiling and joking enjoying his family and friends. He never missed a chance to pick on his sisters. He had such kindness he would help anyone and give you the shirt off his back. Always loving to be outside he loved to ride his motorcycle and to go fishing and enjoyed fishing at the coast. Justin was known for his overalls and boots. When you saw Justin most times his little dog willow would be riding in his pocket.
He is survived by his mom Heather and stepdad Shane Lawton; father Daniel Hamby; sisters, Chelsea Morton (Noah King), Natalie Graham (Austin Graham), nieces Elizaveta Morton and Thea Morton, maternal grandparents
Cecilia Chester and Bobby Welker; paternal grandparents, Cynthia Driggers and Dannie Hamby, step-sisters Kaitlyn Craft(Austin), Kelsey Lawton, step-brothers, Kraig Lawton, Wade Lawton, Ronald Brown, aunt and uncles, Joy Welker, Josh and Wendy Welker, Tommy and Lisa Hamby, and Amy Eddings and many cousins; girlfriend, Kelsi Henley and her daughter Mallory; honorary brothers and sisters, James Ledbetter, Joey Ward, Austin Patterson, Sarah Wright, Breighanna Aviles, honorary dad, Greg Worsham and his dogs Willow and Lola.
A memorial service will be held Sunday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church at 2:00pm. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm to 1:45pm prior to the service. To all who will attend Justins service the family would like you to wear overalls or jeans and tee shirts in honor of him.
