Justin Anthony Sturdivant, 37, Johnson City, died Wednesday, August 20, 2025.

Justin was born in Norfolk, VA, and was raised in Johnson City. He was a son of Donna Lee McKenney, Johnson City, and the late Darrell Lee Sturdivant.

Justin was an employee of Pepsi Cola for over twenty years.

He attended Kendrick's Creek United Methodist Church, Kingsport.

Justin loved the outdoors, especially fishing, camping and hiking.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

In addition to his mother, Justin is survived by two sons, Jaimason and Kamden Sturdivant, both of Elizabethton; five brothers, Jason Sturdivant (Angel), Virginia Beach, VA, Kenny Sturdivant (Katie), Kingsport, John Cody Brown (Lexi), Colonial Heights, Michael Brown (Angel), Johnson City, Taylor Brown, FL; three sisters, Ashlie McKenney and wife Leah, Johnson City, Samantha Brown, Johnson City, Brieanna Stewart, Johnson City; fifteen nieces and nephews; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The funeral service celebrating Justin's life will be conducted Sunday, August 31, 2025, from the East Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Home, with Reverend Ray Amos, officiating.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 – 3:30 P.M. in the East Parlor of the funeral home.
