Vicki Daniels Schroding

Vicki Daniels Schroding, 76, Johnson City, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her three loving daughters, after a brief illness of Dementia.

Vicki was born in Jackson. MS, and grew up in Jackson, TN, until moving to Johnson City with her family to attend East Tennessee State University. She was the daughter of the late Clarence Lenore Daniels and Claire Simpson Hof.

Vicki was a 1967 graduate of Jackson (TN) High School, then received her Bachelor's Degree in Education from E.T.S.U.

She was employed with the Washington County School System as an Elementary Teacher for thirty-eight years, the first two years at Fall Branch Elementary, then thirty-six years at Boones Creek Elementary, retiring in 2011.

Vicki loved spending time with family, especially her six grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Lanny Daniels.

Vicki is survived by her three daughters, Krisi Tomlinson and husband Justin, Jonesborough, Mitzi Edwards and husband Eric, Jonesborough, Mendi McHone and husband Jason, Johnson City; six grandchildren, Evan Tomlinson, Jonesborough, Gavin, Maggie, and Mason Edwards, all of Jonesborough, Dani Claire and Hudson McHone, both of Johnson City.

The memorial service celebrating Vicki's life will be conducted on Monday, July 28, 2025, at 2:00 P.M., in the Mausoleum Chapel of Washington County Memory Gardens, with Ben Cole, Minister, officiating. Receiving of friends will be 1:30-2:00 P.M. Entombment will follow in her mausoleum niche.
