Kaitlyn Jo Cavanaugh, age 21, of Adams, Wisconsin, passed away on May 31, 2024, in Mauston.
Kaitlyn was a free spirit with a smile for everyone, always eager to help others. She touched many lives in her short time. She loved playing games with her brothers and sister, and cuddling with her cat, Louis. She enjoyed interacting with people and cherished her job at Corner Pump. As a child, she found joy in reading to her Papa, swimming, and showcasing her artistic ability by creating special keepsakes for her Grandma.
She is survived by her Dad, Darrick (Rose) Cavanaugh; Mom, Mary (LaMonte Newsom) Wanless Cavanaugh; Siblings: Ayden Cavanaugh, Madelyn Cavanaugh, Nash Sanchez, Zion Cavanaugh; Grandma, Sally Cavanaugh; Grandpa, John Ralph Cavanaugh; Uncle, David (Sarah) Cavanaugh; Cousins, Kyla and Connor Cavanaugh; Uncle, Ben (Alicia) Wanless; Uncle, Matt (Pam) Wanless; Uncle, John Wanless; Uncle, Josh Wanless; Aunt, Stephanie (Scott) Stern Snyder; Grandma, Jean Wanless; Cousins, Alexa, TJ, Ashley, Emily and Matt Jr. Wanless, Austin, Alec and Beau Stern, Bailey Snyder.
Kaitlyn is preceded in death by her Uncle, Brett Cavanaugh; Grandfather, Steven Wanless; Uncle, Caleb Wanless; Great Grandparents, Helen and John Slaughter; Great Grandparents, Florence and Raymond Wanless.
The funeral services for Kaitlyn will be held at Roseberry Funeral Home with visitation from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and the funeral service beginning at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Mount Repose Cemetery in Friendship, WI, with a luncheon to follow at Grand Marsh Community Center.
Roseberry Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements for Kaitlyn's passing.
