Karen Kay Daniels passed from this earth on December 19, 2023, following a long illness. She was born in Holdenville, Oklahoma, on May 23, 1954, to Claude Lee Parker of Stuart, Oklahoma, and Mary Francis (Taylor) Parker of Atwood, Oklahoma.
Karen married Rick Lee Daniels in November of 1969 in Malvern, Arkansas, and they lived in Shawnee and Tecumseh, Oklahoma. One year later they were blessed with a son, Jerry Lee Daniels. Karen retired after working many years for various local businesses in the Shawnee area. She and Rick enjoyed long motorcycle trips traveling the country. She also enjoyed going to the deer woods with her family, tending her pets and caring for her flowerbeds at home.
Karen enjoyed the holidays and family get-togethers. She had many friends locally and "on the road" because she was always very friendly, even to people she didn't know. The door was always open at her home for anyone who wanted to come over and visit.
Karen was preceded in death by her husband, Rick Daniels, and her parents, Claude Parker and Mary Cagle.
Karen leaves behind her son, Jerry Lee Daniels of Tecumseh; granddaughters, Valerie Daniels of Del City and Gabby Daniels of Tecumseh; sister, Linda Madron and husband, Mike, of Wewoka; brother, Rick Parker and wife, Ann, of Del City; many nieces, nephews and cousins, and a host of dear friends.
Karen will be sorely missed by family and friends forever.
