Karen Sue Dozier

Karen Dozier, 57, of Salisbury, Maryland, passed away on December 19, 2025, in her home surrounded by her loved ones. Born on June 26, 1968, in Salisbury, she remained deeply rooted in the community throughout her life.
Karen dedicated her professional life to serving others as an operations manager for Shore Transit. Her work reflected her steadfast commitment to helping people and ensuring that essential services ran smoothly for the benefit of the community she loved.
She was a devoted mother to her three children: Chelsea Cottingham (Kevin Cottingham); April Dozier (Marquez White); and Brian Baldwin. Karen's love extended deeply to her grandchildren-Jayden Predeoux, Colton Predeoux, Bry'Lon Daniels, Kartier Cottingham, Camden White, Caden White, Kyair White, Aariyah White, and Zayla Baldwin-each of whom brought joy and pride into her life.
Karen shared a lifelong bond with her best friend Billie Jo Cochran whose friendship was a constant source of strength and companionship.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Russell Dozier; her parents Dorothy and Owen Baldwin Sr; her sisters Tammy Legates, Diane Lockley, and Kathy Seehafer; and her brothers Owen Baldwin Jr, Charles Baldwin and Curtis Baldwin.
Karen will be remembered for her caring nature, loving spirit, and unwavering willingness to help others. Her legacy lives on through the many lives she touched with kindness and compassion.
A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m, on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at City Church located at 620 West Main Street in Fruitland, Maryland. A repass will be held immediately after starting at 1p.m. at the same location.
