She started out working at the family business Flint Plating, worked as a semi-truck driver for many years, and worked at General Motors. Karen had a huge heart. She loved animals and had many dogs and cats over the years that she loved dearly. She loved her family and made sure you knew it. She was a force to be reckoned with. In her better days she enjoyed snowmobiling, singing karaoke, shopping, kayaking, and growing lavender in her backyard. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. She will be remembered for her big heart and the deep love she had for her family.
