Karen E. (Bullen) Johnson, 78, of Flat Rock, NC, formerly of Westborough, MA, passed away on November 30, 2024 at home after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was the widow of Rodney W. Johnson who succumbed to ALS in 2015.
She was the daughter of the late Harold Winthrop Bullen and Mabel (White) Bullen. She was raised and educated in Westborough and was a 1964 graduate of Westborough High School. Her parents and three brothers (Donald, Theodore and Philip) predeceased her.
She is survived by thirteen nephews and nieces.
She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, playing the dulcimer, hunting and fishing.
Interment of her cremains, and that of her late husband, will take place privately at Pine Grove Cemetery in Westborough, MA where her parents and brothers rest.
At her request, there will be no service.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Pickering & Son Westborough Funeral Home.
