Karen Marie Jones

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Karen Jones, who departed this life on September 22nd, 2025, at the age of 60 years old. She was born on September 12th in San Francisco to Mary Corkery and Arthur Jones. Karen was known for her vibrant, full of life personality, intellectual curiosity, creative spirit and loyal heart. Whether through quiet acts of kindness or her powerful words of encouragement, she touched the lives of many. She had a gift for listening without judgement, loving without condition, and praying with a depth that brough comfort and clarity to those around her.

Though Karen is no longer with us, her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She is now at rest in the eternal peace she so often spoke of – reunited with loved ones gone before her and embraced by the light she always carried within.

Karen is now with her mother Mary Corkery who passed before her and survived by her father, Arthur Jones, her stepmother, Joan Jones, her brothers Don Jones and Steven Jones, her sister-in-Law, Shelly Jones and her nieces and nephews, Kelsey Beatty, Kirsten Stone, Caira Jones, Andrew Jones and Carter Jones.

A service will be held on Friday October 24th at 11 AM at Holy Cross Funeral Center, 2200 E 18th St in Antioch, CA, 94509. There will be a celebration to follow at Skipolini's Pizza at 3070 Main St in Oakley, CA, 94561.
