Karen A. Kamke

Karen A. Kamke died at the age of 82 on May 3, 2023. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday May 16, 2023, at Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church, 3209 Meadow Lane, Manitowoc. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 9:00 am until the time of services at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a memorial donation be made in Karen's name to Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church or Manitowoc Lutheran High School. Karen was born on February 26, 1941, in Manitowoc and attended Lincoln High School. She worked at various places including the Penguin, Mirro, Paragon Electric, Northridge Care Center, Hal's office, and Wal-Mart. Karen is survived by her daughters Dawn LeClair and Tammy Dhein, and her son Chad Kamke. Preceding her in death were her husband Hal Kamke, father Myron Haupt, mother Hertha Haupt, maternal parent Lester Kamke and Beatrice Kamke, and maternal parent Bill Wellever. Surviving family members include Elaine Lau (sister), Earl Lau (brother-in-law), Gene Hagenow (brother-in-law), Arlie Haupt (brother), Marlene Haupt (sister-in-law), Glen Haupt (brother), Ruby Haupt (sister-in-law), Ione Haupt (sister-in-law), Laverne Haupt (sibling), and Larry Haupt (sibling).
