Karen Ann Karpinski, of Plainfield, NJ, formerly of Summit, NJ, passed away on September 1, 2025, at the age of 65.
Visiting will be held in Paul Ippolito Summit Memorial, 7 Summit Ave., Summit, NJ on Monday, September 8, 2025 from 10 to 11:30 AM with a Prayer Service in the funeral home to begin at 11:30 AM. Immediately following the prayer service will be the interment in St. Teresa's Cemetery, Summit, NJ.
Karen was born and raised in Summit, NJ and lived many years in New Providence before settling in Plainfield for the past 11 years.
She worked as an assembler for the Occupational Center of Union County for many years.
Karen loved to dance and took so much enjoyment in dressing up for parties. She liked to swim often and was even a proud participant in the Special Olympics.
If you knew Karen, then you knew she had a love for Mickey Mouse and all that Disney Land had to offer.
Karen is the beloved sister of Carol Karpinski Di Piano and Diane Karpinski Horner; she was pre-deceased by her parents, Walter and Genevieve Karpinski. Karen leaves behind not only her two sisters, but also the many friends and loved ones she found within CAU.
