Karen Ann Kolb

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Karen A. Kolb on February 23, 2025.
Born to Mary "Doris" Buckley and William G. Kolb, she was raised in Newton, MA. A graduate of Newton North High School, she moved to the Cape to start her own family. She raised her two daughters while going back to school and working full time to provide for her family.
She was selfless and always took care of everyone else. It was her greatest joy knowing that those around her were happy. With a great sense of humor, she could talk to anyone, and make them feel comfortable instantly. She lived for spending time with family and loved ones and took pride in all of their accomplishments. She loved the beach, looking for sea glass, driving with the top down, and just being in the sun.
She leaves behind her loving husband Philip Rabesa of Teaticket, MA, whom she spent the last 20 plus years of her life. She had "finally found a good one". In addition to her husband, Karen leaves her two daughters Kimberly Reasonover of Tennessee (husband Casey) with their four children Lorelei, Avery, Trace, and Buckley; and Tamara (Tammy) Souza of Centerville, MA (wife Samantha Stark) with their two children Taylor and Morgan. She was an amazing wife, mother, and nanny for those lucky enough to call her family. She will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 10 am at Saint Anthony's Church, 167 East Falmouth Highway, East Falmouth with a gathering to follow at the Navigator in Falmouth.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in honor of Karen Kolb to the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center or the American Cancer Society AstraZeneca Hope Lodge.
