"Together Again"
Karen Ann Lustig, age 74, of Dalton, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 30, 2024 at Ohio's Hospice Life Care in Wooster. She was surrounded by her loving family.
Karen was born on June 17, 1950 in Cannonsburg, Pennsylvania to John H. and Anne K. (Ramous) Loffert. She later moved from Pennsylvania to the Dalton area where she's been a resident since 1999.
She married Arthur J. "Art" Lustig on May 29, 1992 in Dalton, Ohio.
She and her husband Art were both Owner and Operator of "Arts Parts" in Marshallville for many years before his unexpected passing away on May 31, 2019.
Karen was an avid lover of anything to do with Harley Davidson motorcycles. She and Art also enjoyed going to numerous Harley Davidson event trips for many years which included Sturgis, Florida and New York to name a few.
She enjoyed going to swap meets and cared deeply for animals. She especially enjoyed her bird feeders and mostly loved spending time with her family and friends.
Karen is survived by her sister, Sandra L. Loffert-Furda of Pennsylvania; nieces, Jessica (Scott) Acker of Pennsylvania, and Renee (Doug) Hile of Ohio; nephews, August J. (Cheryl) Mondin of Pennsylvania and Clint (Kim) Snyder of Ohio, great nieces and nephews Delilah, August, Trevor, Shawn, Summer, Rick, Madison and Prestin along with numerous friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her brother, Dennis Loffert.
Custer-Glenn Funeral Home in Wooster is assisting the family.
