Karen L. Schultz

Karen L. Schultz, 88 of Oak Harbor, OH died Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Bethesda Care Center, Fremont, OH under Hospice Care. She was born August 11, 1937 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Bryan and Virginia (Rule) Kraemer. She was a 1956 graduate of Oak Harbor High School and received her Bachelor's Degree in Education from Bowling Green State University. Karen taught for 32 years. She taught at Oak Harbor (Home Economics), Fremont Ross High School and Vanguard, Occupational Work Experience (OWE) and GRADS program for pregnant teens. On November 11, 1961 she married Charles Schultz.
Karen attended St. Paul United Church of Christ, Oak Harbor. She was a lifetime member of Friends of Magee Marsh and volunteered at Schedel Gardens & Arboretum as a guide. Karen enjoyed shopping, traveling, gardening and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years Charles of Oak Harbor, OH; children: Lee & Cynthia Schultz of Holland, OH and Michal & David Hogan of Gahanna, OH; grandchildren: Alex, Eric, Katie & Jacob. She was preceded in death by her parents (Bryan & Virginia), Step-Parents Harold Below & Marjorie Kraemer, and granddaughter Rebecca.
Karen's wishes were to donate her body to Science. Services will be announced at a later date by Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Oak Harbor Chapel.
