Karen left us unexpectedly, yet peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of quiet strength and selfless generosity. She gave without hesitation and found her greatest joy in bringing happiness to others, whether through a kind word, a thoughtful gesture, or simply with her gentle presence.
Though her path was not always easy, Karen faced life with grace and resilience. She never complained and never let hardship define her. Instead, she chose to live with compassion, courage, and an unwavering commitment to those she cared about.
Karen found delight in life's simple comforts. She had a love for puzzles, word searches, knitting, and plants. She was deeply loyal to her friends and never forgot a birthday, anniversary, or special occasion. Her thoughtfulness and attention to the small things made those around her truly feel special.
Karen is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles, and her brother, Roger Anderson. Their memories remained close to her heart, and she carried their love with her every step of the way.
Everyone who crossed paths with Karen will fondly remember her iconic red wagon. It was more than something she pulled-it was a part of her, a symbol of her fierce independence and unmistakable determination. She took it everywhere, proudly and unapologetically-a reflection of the life she lived: bold, self-directed, and always true to herself.
Her absence leaves a space that cannot be filled, but she will be forever remembered.
